What happened?

One would have to care about the players to respond to that.

One would think that would have been in the first post such as:
- back online
- issue was blah blah blah
- apologies here is 10 ddays etc. for your troubles

DigitalVoid, you are right. So I do apology to all of you because of downtime.

While there are things I would like to say and some things I don't like, I don't want them to be read by all. As for general info why GK was removed from Staff, it was because he unjailed Marky. But for those interested in the reason it went offline it was because Marky exploited the game and I had to get all the info needed to prove that the system was abused and by who (In this case Mark Cole, with his home IP address). And all these are logged. While I'm still thinking whether to push it forward with the criminal law, he is red flagged by UK Police.

So a kind warning to all who think of hacking CW, while it is vulnerable, it is illegal and all actions are logged. If it happens one more time, I'll go for all. Mark included. He's and idiot, but I can't help him. He wants attention, he will get it from UK laws. It would be good that you would ignore him too when he gets around here.

I kept this game online because I know there are people who invested a lot of time and they still want to play it, as it is, even if it's broken. My day is same as yours, 24h/day so I have limited time to spend on this game. It already becomes boring to you as many times I repeated it, but I've done countless changes to fix as many holes I could, and there are still plenty. But I won't give anyone the satisfaction of having it closed because it was abused.

Players who logged in since March 1st, received 250 ECs and 14 Donator Days as compensation.
