Okay! It's been talked about a fair bit here and there, but I think it's time to address this as a whole. We all know there was a time when this game was much more active than it is in it's current days. It has the potential to be that active again.
As a group, we should all try and be more active in chat. Even when we're only on for five minutes or so, still pop in and say hey for a few minutes. Keep things going in there. There can be twenty people on at a time, and still no word in chat. I know I used to be able to attract people by saying "sign up, play a bit, stay in chat and talk, you'll love it and won't want to leave". And they'd do so. Now, when that happens they arrive in an empty chat and often disregard the game.
At the same time, tell people about the game. TELL PEOPLE ABOUT THE GAME. Nobody will be able to join unless they know it's here. Tell your friends who might be interested. If you visit any forums, post links appropriately. Social networking sites can even be helpful.
I think it's time to put our foot down guys. No more "this game is dying", no more "chat is dead". If chat's dead, liven it up. If you're just lurking there, say hey. Instead of saying the game is dying, think of more ways to bring more life to it. Try get everyone to see this forum post too; the more people that can contribute, the better.

I'm basically Myckaal 2.0. We've got the same basic features, only I'm faster and more handsome.
