There is currently a chat exploit allowing out Thorn in our asses *mark* to steal you user information required to login as you.

So far it seems he has just used the chat to do this (he exploit could extend to just chat).

So far it has not been fixed. Andi should be getting on it as soon as possible to fix it.

I would rate this exploit as a critical exploit. Allowing a malicious user to gain control over your account and to start posting in chat as your name and to possibly change other settings. (my layout and some other things where changed).

Change your password and avoid chat till it is fixed.

This will cause a login error upon him/anyone else abusing the exploit.

Andi has known about it for days and it isn't fixed yet. He says he'll get round to it at the weekend. He decided to pull a "oh I'll just block chat for those under age 10 until I have time" trick. Doesn't really work that way when you know of a serious exploit you don't put in a half assed hack to stop it happening.

Silly Mark, fixing stuff takes TIME AND EFFORT! How dare you expect Andi to waste TIME AND EFFORT on CW? He's obviously got better stuff to do than fix crippling exploits. Like never posting updates, or letting the entire playerbase vanish via attrition, or making it even more frustrating for new players. Show some fucking respect, the man leads a busy life.
