Okay,,,,,,, so I'm really bored and I thought I would start some stupid forum post to kill the time.

So here it is, The (Queen's) English TO (American) English Dictionary.

The Format will be Queen's English First followed by the American English version

I've never even heard of, nevermind used, faggot to mean food. I know it can mean piece of wood, but never food...

late 13c., "bundle of twigs bound up," from O.Fr. fagot "bundle of sticks," from It. faggotto, dim. of V.L. *facus, from L. fascis "bundle of wood" (see fasces). Especially used for burning heretics (a sense attested from 1550s), so that phrase fire and faggot was used to mean "punishment of a heretic." Heretics who recanted were required to wear an embroidered figure of a faggot on their sleeve, as an emblem and reminder of what they deserved.

Faggots are a traditional dish in the UK,[1][2] especially the Midlands of England.[3][4][5] It is made from meat off-cuts and offal, especially pork.[3] A faggot is traditionally made from pig's heart, liver and fatty belly meat or bacon minced together, with herbs added for flavouring and sometimes breadcrumbs.
