It would be nice to have a "You've Got Mail" Pop-up (with option in account )

in the Option we could have 3 choices:

- No
- Yes to ALL
- Yes to Gang only

Is there not already the mail alert option? Isn't that basically the same thing, except it tells only tells you that you have mail and doesn't get into specifics like from a gang member or whatever? I don't think this is necessary

Well... anyways... both topics are trying to say the same thing. Why have a "You Got Mail" Message when you can check your inbox when you log on?

And this one has nothing to do with when you log in .. it's for when you are in game already ... you get a pop-up from those you want only, to get in to Gang-chat or other important messages !



Like that you don't have to spam the general Chat with "Ozy" when you need to talk to someone !
(by the way, you can use <id number> in chat it's more discrete and less moronic)

Can I propose a counter suggestion, in that 'the bank' is swapped with the 'mail' link in the navbar, that way it appears when you load a page and you can see that it has gone up by 1, and that no one uses the bank now anyway.

The pop-up would also work while in the Forum or in Jail (you can't use it there, although prisoners do get mail)

My idea would render your idea obsolete, so I think it is relevant to this topic ^_^
I don't personally think there is a big problem with getting mail, but you do, so I'm suggesting a way to solve your problem which may be slightly different but will be just as effective

Seriously? You want to add pop-up windows to the list of annoying things that CW already has? Hell, most browsers block pop-ups for a reason. This is like asking for longer lag every hour on the hour.

I propose you just look at the little link called "Mail" on your game page. I heard a dubious rumor that it gets a number beside it that will even tell you how much mail you have. I know it must be hard to do, seeing as it's so hard to find, but you get used to it, eventually.

I'm with Myck ... the email pop up was the most BOTHERING thing that I've seen in this game.
Every time that I open a new tab, that insane popup was appearing.

Or what about a red color in the Mail button? or green? ... something that get your attention.
