Logout Link

It's something very, very, very small, but recently, a player posted a direct logout link disguised as a tinyurl.com link.

So, I think it's a bug because in the pre-reset CW, Aoen claimed to have fixed this logout link with a popup confirming this choice. It's still bypassable.

So, I ask that this gets fixed, which isn't a priority I realize, or illegalize this tinyurl linking to auto-logout.

How about... It is a jail able offense, pure and simple. I personally would jail someone for a week for doing that.

Or, you could stop letting your curiosity get the best of you and clicking every damn link you see. On a side note, I don't see how linking you to the log out should have any repercussions. Linking to a market listing or a hack link? Yes, but the log out link? No.

Protip: preview.tinyurl.com, it's really your own fault.

If you think that guy might be linking you to penguin porn, then you just DON'T click it. It's still punishable to link to other games, illegal activities, and outright porn, right?

Oh shit!! .... there's your reason for the fucking chat mods!! To jail assholes who post porn or vile shit in chat links. That way, if the chat mod checks it and it's a disallowed link, they can deal with the guy. But it seems the CW admin's answer was to just "take the ball away from everyone because one or two kids were misusing it." Excellent. Now, since I don't Trin posted a bunch of vile shit, we all lost the ability to do chat links. There's an actual, FUNCTIONING forum mod, who got the images off the forums pretty quick, otherwise we might have lost all the forum images, too.

To do that we need fully functional and mute capable Chat mods in place and online. So guess what Myck, that aint going to happen anytime soon. I have seen quite a few "mutable" things happen and they ALL go unpunished (yes this includes porn links) while a CM is "lurking" in chat and honestly i think there was a "I am online" staff member

It will never change. But i'm cool with that, it means we now own chat and there aint a damm thing anyone will do about it

There's no need for anything like that. These aren't live links, it's not like someone unsuspectingly clicked a link and was logged out; instead, a user copied and pasted (his own decision) a text-link. That users has every right and all the power in the world to manipulate that link to a preview of some kind.
