Civilized Warfare?

I propose a royal rumble of sorts. Who ever said that gang wars had to be a 1 on 1 type deal? The goal is to get to X kills right? What happens in your little civilized war when a third or forth party joins the carnage? Whoever can jump whoever whenever, as long as they have a declaration.

I like it, but I see this being hard to code and probably won't happen even though if it did, it would very interesting and exciting addition to cyber-wars

We can do like, x (3-5) number of gangs participate in the war. It just gives the option to kill a wider variety of gangs, and also makes you more er...attackable? (cant think of another word). All in all, would be fun, and maybe higher rewards?
This game deserves a better class of Net Guards...I'm gonna give it to 'em.

This idea has potential... Would you have to declare from the beginning on 2 other gangs, or would 2 gangs be fighting and a 3rd join half way through? Also, do you get minus points for being killed, as I could see two allied gangs joining up to declare on a 3rd gang, then killing each other and healing so the 3rd gang had no chance.

Gangs are at war, whether it be concrete or the web people know about these wars and where they are being held eventually. Secrets can be kept and silent wars between two rival gangs can go on for quite a while. Rivals will eventually come to find out what is going on and settle the matter.

My idea is the following: 1. Each gang gets one declaration of war per day. 2. Any gang can declare war on any other gang, even a gang in war. 3. Goals of war do not change, they just add more people to hack, gangs still need the appropriate amount of kills to win. A. The amount of kills needed to win said war is already set and can't be changed. 4. Prizes for these wars do not change.

Another option, since I did put a question mark there at Warfare, Civilized and all. No gang can declare or be declared upon a gang they were just at war with. Tea and scones for all, a much needed rest. pip pip and all that.

I think it would work best as:

Gang A declares war on gang B for 500 kills
Gang B decides that this is bullshit and makes an arrangement with gang C
Gang C declares on gang A for 500 kills
Now Gang A has to get kills for TWO wars for a total of 1000 kills, while gang B and C only have to get the kills for their single side of the war, or 500 each, to win
Gang A decides that this is utter elephantiasis of the prostate and calls up gang D.
Gang D declares on gang B for 500 kills
Gang A still has to deal with their original war for 500 and the second war from gang C for 500, but they feel better because gang B is in the same boat.
If gang A or gang B somehow manage to win their war against both gangs, they get the bonus for each war, ie. double the payout of a 500 kill war
If either gang A, B, C, or D win one of their 500 kill declarations, they just get the payout for that.

Keep each declaration and the individual war timers separate and *MAYBE* limit it to no more than three simultaneous wars at a time.

Hey .... much as I may be an egomaniac .... I'm just throwing some skin and stuff on the idea Wes posted.

Just sayin ....

That being said, I'd really like Aoen's word on whether or not it could be coded. It would make gang wars a LOT more interesting and would give the allies option a reason for existing. Aside from the "don't hack these people" part of it ....
