Riddle Me This...

Postby |BAD| JarKovus on Tue, 13 Dec 2011 04:38:23 +0000

A thread for the obvious...RIDDLES.

The person that figures out the riddle will then post a new one, but since I am the first I will begin.

A man rides into town on Friday. Stays for the night, and leaves out on Friday the next morning. How?

3 - starting number
13 - there was one three
1113 - there was one one, and one three.
3113 - there were three ones, and one three.
132113 - there was one three, two ones, and one three.
1113122113 - there was one one, one three, one two, two ones and one three.

A man and a woman were driving in their car when it broke down. The man decided to go for help at a gas station a few miles back. He made sure nobody was in the car, rolled all the windows up, and locked all of the sedan's doors. He went off, but when he came back, his wife was dead, and there was a stranger in the car. No physical damage was done to the car, so how did the stranger get in?

I'm not sure if that counts as cheating or not <_< it seems perfectly valid to me, albeit there a different solution also.

You didn't define any rules, a lockpick wouldn't damage the car, it would simply replace the key.
Was the wife still in the car?

Or a ghost, he could have killed the wife to recharge his 'walk through solid object' powers

The lock will in almost all cases be a bit damaged when lockpicked.. Some less than other, but still damaged.
