TSPL - Keep or remove

TSPL I think is one of those things that sounded good at the time, but after watching it play it has caused more issues then its fixed. In bringing in TSPL, it gave level a purpose, forces activity at the top, and keeps #1 from pulling too far away in stats from the competition. But in doing such it's forced #1 and 2 to pull away from the competition in level. At one point Ozy told me it takes him 6 hours to gain one level. For simplicity I'll say Ozy is 40 levels away from Twid. By that math he's 240 hours (10 days) away from Twid, if Twid spent 10 straight days killing and Ozy spent 10 straight days not signing on, Twid would finally catch him. I find that to be ridiculous.

Pre reset, yes CJ flew ahead in terms of stats. But without TSPL there still was a chance that someone could catch him at any time as they didn't have to spend days leveling to catch up.

There's certainly more to the argument then this, post opinions

That's why I voted to keep TSPL, I don't see any reason to remove it.

Do you think that removing it would make Ozy stop increasing his stats? Inversaly, he'd do what CJ did before reset.
The only way to catch somebody that plays 22hs a day is to play 23hs a day, that's it.

Maybe he'd increase his stats instead of leveling, but that gives opportunity for others to level and use different stat combinations to beat him. It allows others with more CDs to purchase ECs and over throw him. There's a greater chance of someone passing him without TSPL then passing him with TSPL

I voted for a rework. I think TSPL is a good thing overall, but there's room for improvement.

I think it should be reworked. Maybe set Level goals instead of per level
Like: Lvl 1-10 max of like 5k
lvl 20-40 80k
40-60 110k
(just examples didnt do any math related to what we have now)

just something along those lines

Want to slow the leveling rush?

Make it so you can't hack anyone more than 100 levels below you. I'd say 50, but that would halt quite a few in their tracks almost, so lets just say I said 100, and you go ahead and think 50.

Just tossing out ideas here ....

Hacking limits = No 600s, no training as you can't level up for TSPL, and overall a more boring game

by removing TSPL ... you'd go back to the old CW .. PAY and be on TOP ... no more hard work to be in top 10 ... it would make this an easy game with little challenge and available to all rich kids ... and boring for sure !!

I don't thing TSPL is the problem here ... but the being hack by someone is !!

It's a hacking war game, die, heal and get over it !!

Myck proposal of limiting to 100 levels below sounds .. fine except for the weekly 600+ kills .. since I'd have only Twidget to hack .. loool
(Good Idea at reset, now .. a bit silly)
