Well, this will be interesting!
I've decided to start my inflation watch again so we can track it from the start! I'll take my first recording later today, although I'm not sure of the best time. Actually, wait a minute...with interest gone, will reset make much of a difference? Sorry, I'm thinking out loud, aren't I? :P
Anyway, I'll take readings resetish every day, although the time may change. If anyone else feels like helping out please drop me a line or post here.
Thanks,
Rusty

I don't see the big deal with changing the prices. I really don't.

Ok, admittedly, its a bit of a step. But it is well within the rights of an admin to change market pricings, and its for the benefit of players, not so he could buy them for himself cheaper.

Inflation is already under way.
And well, personally, Im trying to think of ways to stop it.
And the only one Ive come across thats any good.... thank you to superRAWR - is making it so you can only sell ECs you've made, not ones you've bought. Meaning that when people post cheap Ecs, they cannot be bought and resold at profit.

Okay Mr. Smarty... How exactly would you be able to tell the difference between a "made" EC and a "Bought" EC?

*Holds up two ECs, one made and one bought, with the made EC in his left hand and the bought EC in his right. He starts to juggle them, making sure that you can't tell which is which. Stopping his juggling, he offers both for your inspection again.* Which is which?

It is sort of the reason why CW was reset...

Of course inflation is under way. CW would be pretty screwed if its economy was already stagnant or deflating with only 23 mil CDs. In about a month or two things should start to level off, then we can start to worry about inflation.

That's not such a bad idea actually.
And AR, it can be accheived through indirect methods, eg log amount of ECs bought, amount of ECs made, amount of ECs used. (used-bought)+made=the amount you can sell. That way you don't need to earmark those bought and those made, as the total change will mean that you can't more bought ECs than used or made ones. Someone please check the equation, I had a few tries before I got this one and it still may be wrong/exploitable

Anyway, the suggestions forum is locked at the moment, but keep it in mind and post it when it opens ;)

ECs sure shot up today. Did the weekly war get paid out or is it from a lottery or something?

Getting near 100 mil. Now would be the time to note that the ratio of EC:DD:WS:CD is 1:4.5:50:20k. Lets keep an eye on it as we progress ;)
Oh, and as a side note, the markets are looking ever volatile, with ECs still raising and DDs still falling.
