IQ Weekly reward

Hello,

As many of you already have the IQ maxed out, please propose what else you want as replacement for the weekly kills reward.
So.. considering that 1000-2000 kills gets you 5 IQ, 2000-5000 gets you 10 IQ and 5000+ gives 30 IQ I would like to know what you want instead of it.

Another thing I am considering is reward top 3 killers of the day with a 400 energy bar and top 3 people with most donator days a 600 energy bar.

Meanwhile I'm working on fixing the challenges.

Perhaps instead of IQ, something to do with stat increase?

Perhaps extra Energy Charges or a direct boost to stats or stats of our choice.
Maybe even someones choice between Cyber Dollars, Websites, or Energy Charges.


EDIT:Or you know, you could finally raise the max IQ to 1,000.

Top 3 killers of the day or week?


I should clarify this further: top 3 killers based on the weekly kills, but the adjustment is done daily.
Case: A, B, C top 3 in weekly kills Monday at 0. Tuesday at 0 if D has more weekly kills than C it will be A, B, D.

I hope this clear things up.

I like the idea of raising the iq max. Although, doing this may mean adding additional challenges..?

As well has having the daily top killers reward maybe we can have an additional weekly reward, such as an Intent bonus for weekly kills, e.g., +50 for 1000, +100 for 2000, +250 for 5000?

This way players who don't play daily, or don't have a stockpile of EC's can get a reward too. :idea:

Well if they don't play daily, that is their problem. There is really not much on CW that you have to do daily. In fact there is too little to do, but rather too little than too much in my experience (regarding text based games). I haven't exactly calculated it, but you don't even need 10 mins to do what you can do on CW. After you're done with your activities you just have to pop on every now and then for short times to check if your bars haven't filled up or whichever other activities you do. You don't need a stockpile of EC's to get 600 week kills let alone more than 1000/2000 either. Once you have 600 kills, and DD's it is so easy to get your next batches of kills quickly within a day without having the need to use EC's.

As for Intent and regarding boosters, well yes that may be nice, but you don't get a whole lot from those boosters either and there is no other use for Intent yet, so that doesn't seem very interesting to me. What does seem more interesting to me is perhaps a new way to get HP. because it's the hardest to get, especially if you're not in a gang or you are in an inactive gang.

Going back to those proposed intent rewards, those are way too high as well. It would make jobs almost useless. :P

We should put up a poll for this. But most of it sounds good.

The top 3 DD thing would help the market by having people try to keep more dd's instead of selling. Or make people buy more lol :P

But I agree with the other statements and pubes suggestions more.

I like the suggestions I see.

How about that instead of the IQ rewards, assuming you're not willing to raise the cap, then howabout something that you can't easily get elsewhere, like cap scouts or servers (assuming you're already at or past the purchasable limit), or perhaps firewall increases?

I like what Twid says about about firewall increase'... it would add an extra dimension. low level players with really high firewalls woul;d A) be harder to hack, and B) give more Exp when hacked, resulting in a more strategic game...

It could even be something as simple as an equipment add-on...?

...and if you owned said equimpment perhaps it could have a base stat boost? Or players could invest in a specific stat boost, for example: 10,000,000 buys you a basic Firewall but that firewall can be boosted as well...

this is an off the top of my head example for illustrative puerposes, please feel free to amend my figures etc,


Level 1; +10,000,000CDs gets you a a + 2% firewall boost, this unlocks level 2

Level 2; +20 mil gets you an extra +5% firewall + 2% RAM,

Level 3; 50 mil +0 Firewall, + 5% RAM, 5% BUS

Level 3; 75mil, plus 5% Firewall, plus5% CPU

...

I like some of the ideas above. Thing is we need to make it fun for the newer players and to give them a much better
chance at playing. But we also can't ruin the players who are now the last handful of seasoned players who can help the newcomers get acclimated to the functions of the game, and the methods that aren't really taught but found out.

Here is an idea from me which may seem odd but I believe most will agree with.

At the same kills as before instead of getting IQ we get some points(say Kill points), and we can exchange them for IQ, Hacking skill, BUS, CPU, HDD, RAM, Firewall, ECs.
Say you get 10 points for 1000, 20 for 2000, 40(or 50) for 3000(gotta stimulate people do to more kills). Then you exchange a set number of points for the above stats.
Hell you can even add Capacity Scouts; Servers; DDs, but make them possible with several weeks worth of points.
That way it will add the ability for people to decide if they want to hold on to their points to get better rewards or exchange for the cheaper ones. And of course you get to keep those points they don't reset. Maybe even make a ranking for total points gained(both ones who you have in you and those you have spend).

Yes that will require some work into it, but could be a nice addition to the game.
