Energy Scout

I should imagine this is a fairly obvious idea...

I.E. it functions almost exactly like a capacity scout, but it gives you.... (wait for it!) ENERGY!

Same exponential cost (actually its not exponential is it, just linearly accelerating) as cap scouts, but you can trade 10 (i dunno what you would actually call them) RAM blocks for 1 energy... VOILA more energy means everyone is more happy.

Yes of course this idea has its downsides, the most obvious being the people at the front stay even more at the front. Its just an idea, and i'd love to hear all the comments your filthy minds come up with. On topic.

So you want more free energy? The 50 energy you get from Restore energy isn't enough for you?

Tho i like free energy this seems like a stupid idea......

I dont like this idea, for several reasons

1 - It will devalue ECs
2 - Those who have cash will get more energy as they will buy more (Scouts/servers or what ever you call it)
3 - You already get enough energy IF you do your 600 with DD's

However i would not be against adding in a new category for 900 and 1200kills done.

200 Kills - Bonus Energy: +5 Every 15
400 Kills - Bonus Energy: +5 Every 10
600 Kills - Bonus Energy: +5 Every 5
900 Kills - Bonus Energy: +10 Every 5
1200 Kills - Bonus Energy: +15 Every 5

Or something like that, make people work for the extra energy instead of a "simple" free-be. But in general i would say it is perfect the way it is

I like Fuzz's idea about a couple more steps on the bonus energy ladder...

Which part of "exponentially more expensive" did you interpret to mean "free"? The two are mutually exclusive...

And no, the 50 energy I get from restore energy isn't nearly enough. Its only approximately 40k credits per day... Given that energy is the most important resource in the game, more of it around would be, to quote Hitler, "Vunderbar".

And, perchance fuzz, howooiikol;pl. whoops spilt curry on my keyboard.

And, perchance fuzz, is there anything wrong with devalueing ECs? And if the numbers are right, it won't by any appreciable factor... Given that the first few will be really cheap, the people who are making EC's to try and line their pockets will be able to get a medium sized amount of extra energy to make... MORE EC'S... which may in itself be a problem. Or are you talking about the fact that everyone will have less demand for energy if they get 100 free per day... The demand will still remain exactly the same, just some people who have invested more will get extra energy.

I disagree with the +10 every 5 and + 15 every 5... not on principle, but on amounts... An extra 300 energy per hour? Thats a metric fuckton. Thats almost double extra what we currently get...

What will land up happening is simple, those who donate will just have more cash to spend on the extra energy and thus it will becomes an UBER donaters world again. The current system that is in place i think is more than adequate any more and it would start to become a little 2 much in a hurry, CW has always been a waiting game, not something that you should be able to do a Sparhawk and get to the top 10 before you 25 days is up

Pretty sure disabling the EC shop was one of Orsms' stupidest moves ever...

Wait, though, this is Orsm...

The infinite energy shop was only added temporarily to let people waste all theire accumulated CD on stats before the reset. It wasn't added permanently in the first place, so it wasn't "removed" per say.
I don't think the game needs more sources for energy. You already get more energy each day than you can possibly spend anyway!

before the infinite ec shop, there was a normal ec shop.

and i agree with this idea. ecs are too expensive, (this is coming from a price-raising ec saleman) simply because of the lack of energy. Everyone wants it, and only a few choose to provide it. an idea like the energy scout will make it so that everyone overall has more energy, so the demand for it will start to go down, and prices of ecs will also go down

Maybe alligning the kill bonuses with the IQ bonuses
600 Kills - Bonus Energy: +5 Every 5
1000 Kills - Bonus Energy: +10 Every 5
and so on..
